Celebrate Mother's Day with a giant Mother's Day Cookie Cake! This year, I purchased a plain 12" chocolate chip cookie from the neighborhood grocery store and decorated it for Mother's Day. I wanted a heart as part of my design, so I cut out a paper heart shape and traced it onto my cookie. Using a disposable pastry bag and a #895 large basket weave tip, I filled it with pink buttercream to cover the heart. Next, I put a white buttercream ruffle using tip #040 around the pink filled in heart. The outer edge surrounding the heart is decorated with a white buttercream shell border using a #20 border tip.
